John Cena Confirms Hair Transplant After Balding Jokes Went Viral
Wrestling legend and Hollywood actor John Cena has revealed that he underwent a hair transplant procedure after enduring public ridicule about his receding hairline.
During a recent appearance on the “Armchair Expert” podcast, Cena opened up about the emotional impact of online jokes targeting his thinning hair. According to him, the constant mockery and memes pushed him to take action.
“I was getting destroyed online. People were brutal,” Cena admitted. “So, I decided to do something about it. I got a hair transplant, and I’m really happy with the results.”
Cena’s openness about the procedure has sparked positive reactions, with many fans applauding his honesty and vulnerability. Others say his decision sheds light on how public figures are not immune to body image issues
Speaking to People Magazine, Cena said: ‘When I’m trying to hide my hair loss the audience is just bringing it to light, like ‘you’re going bald’. I used it as a thing of the point of the story we were in just because I also want the audience to know I see your signs, the one that says ‘Bald John Cena’, I get it but I also know it’s something I’m going through.
‘I want to be genuine with that audience letting me know, either do some work or shave your head. They pushed me into going to see what my options were. I ended up getting a transplant last November and the crazy thing I came back I came back for the retirement tour starting in January.
