tranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has announced that she and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, have welcomed a baby girl.
The actress shared the news with her fans on Instagram, revealing that the couple recently adopted their daughter.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” Brown wrote. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
She captioned the post with a heartfelt note: “And then there were three.”
The 21-year-old actress married Jake Bongiovi, son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, in 2024. Just months ago, the Stranger Things star opened up about her dream of having a “big family.”
Speaking on the SmartLess podcast, Brown reflected on her early desire to become a mother. “I’m still really young, but my mum had her first child at 21 and my dad was 19. It’s been my thing since before I met Jake—since I was a baby,” she said.
She recalled telling her mother from a young age that she wanted to be just like her: “With my baby dolls, I’d say, ‘I want to be a mum, just like the way my mum was to me.’”
Brown shared that Jake fully supported her wish to start a family while also encouraging her to focus on building her career. “Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married,’” she explained. “My thing was, I really want a family, I really want a big family.”
For Millie, family is not limited to biology. “I don’t see having your own child as really any different than adopting,” she said. “For me, my home is full of love for anyone and anything.”
Both Millie and Jake come from large families themselves, each being one of four siblings.
