Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed the emotional significance behind the cufflinks he wore on his wedding day, which featured a portrait of his late son, Ifeanyi.
On August 10, 2025, Davido and his wife, Chioma, tied the knot in Miami, both carrying touching tributes to their late child. While Davido wore cufflinks with Ifeanyi’s image, Chioma had the little boy’s portrait pinned to her bridal bouquet.
In an interview with Vogue Weddings, Davido explained that the gesture was a way of keeping their son close to them on such a remarkable occasion.
“My cufflinks held a portrait of our angel, Ifeanyi — a way to keep him close to our hearts on the most beautiful night of our lives,” he shared.
Reflecting on the ceremony, Davido added: “I felt at peace. I got to marry the love of my life, and I get to wake up next to her forever.”
