Singer Skales seems to have moved on from his marriage and found love again.
On Friday, August 23, the artist took to Instagram to introduce his new partner, model Shauney Monae, whom he described as his “favourite song and guiding light.” He also expressed deep admiration for her, saying he loves the way she loves.
Sharing a birthday photo of himself with Shauney, Skales penned a heartfelt message:
“The way you love, the way you care, the way you teach me how to live. So here’s to you, the one I adore, my heart, my muse, my greatest friend.”
This development comes two years after Skales publicly called out his wife, Precious Raoul, labeling her a “devil” after she mourned his late mother on social media.
Skales and Precious, who tied the knot in September 2021, marked their first wedding anniversary in September 2022, with the singer then describing the union as a blessing.
He wrote at the time: “Ever since this day last year, my joy has known no bounds… This marriage has been a blessing to me. Happy anniversary to the love of my life.”
He added: “As I celebrate my first wedding anniversary with my darling wife, I’ve decided to share with you all actual footages from one of the most memorable days of my life.”
However, two months later, Skales publicly called out Precious in November 2022, just one year after they got married and while she was heavily pregnant with their daughter. Skales released a diss song slamming Precious for making a post in honor of his mother after she passed. He claimed Precious could have extended his mother’s life but she refused to care for his mother. He added that he never knew he was marrying the devil.
However, months later, in March 2023, the month they welcomed their daughter, he apologised to Precious for his words and celebrated her on her birthday.
He wrote at the time: “Happy birthday my Queen @her_sanity11, I truly love, respect and care for you & I promise to do better! Cheers to most amazing year yet.”
It now appears he and Precious are done for good.
